- Cut 400 g chicken fillet in identical slices. Peel one large onion and cut into cubes.
- Rinse 200 g of champignons, cut them into slices or cubes.
- Grate 150 g of hard cheese on a medium grater.
Cooking julienne
- Heat 5 tbsp in a pan. l vegetable oil. Fry the chicken in a pan until half cooked.
- Next, add chopped onions, mushrooms and 1 tsp to the meat. salt. Stir and fry over medium heat without covering. Juice will stand out from the mushrooms and onions; it should be evaporated almost completely.
- When there is almost no liquid left, add 0.5 tsp. any spices and pour 200 ml of fat cream.
- Bring the cream to a slight boil, they should thicken a little. After that add the grated cheese, mix, cover and let stand for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve julienne with chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, garnishing with branches of your favorite greens. Enjoy your meal.
Cooking recommendations
- Do not allow strong and prolonged boiling of cream, they may delaminate, and this will affect the appearance and taste of julienne.
- Choose cheese varieties that melt easily.
- Cream can be replaced with fat sour cream.
- According to this recipe, you can cook julienne from any mushrooms, for example, oyster mushroom, chanterelle or white. But these mushrooms should be boiled before adding to the fried chicken fillet.
- As spices, you can take a mixture of ground peppers or herbs at your discretion.
- If you want the finished dish to have a ruddy cheese crust, shift the julienne into a mold, sprinkle cheese on top and put in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes. In the same way, you can make a portioned serving, sorting the julienne into small molds.
