Step cooking
- First you need to thoroughly wash and peel the mushrooms. If the mushrooms are large enough, it is advisable to peel them. Young small champignons can be cut together with it. Next, cut them into thin plates.
- Then peel 1 onion of medium size from the husk and chop very finely.
- Pour olive oil into a heated pan and pour finely chopped onion into it. It must be fried until golden brown.
- After that, put all the chopped mushrooms to the onion, mix and fry also. If necessary, pour olive oil on top, since mushrooms can absorb it very quickly, and the pan should not remain dry. Please note that mushrooms should not turn into crispy chips. They need to be fried until golden.
- Add black ground pepper or a mixture of peppers to taste. Stir and continue to fry over medium heat. Salt and add 1 tsp. wheat flour, mix and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Then we spread the mushrooms with onions in special ceramic molds or pots. If you like meat, then chopped chicken breast can be placed on top of the mushrooms. To do this, it must first be boiled in slightly salted water and cool. You can also add 1-2 bay leaves.
- Sprinkle cream on top or, if you're cooking a vegan version, coconut milk. Next, carefully level everything and mix it lightly so that the cream or milk completely saturates the entire filling.
- Next, rub the cheese on a coarse grater. If you are making a vegan version of the dish, then you need to use vegan cheese without milk. We spread the grated cheese on top into forms, completely covering the filling. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Forms with julienne are sent to the preheated oven and baked for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- The finished dish is served hot. If desired, it can be decorated on top with finely chopped greens or leafy greens. Enjoy your meal.
