- Put the pan on the stove, pour 1 liter of milk and bring to a boil. The fat content of milk depends on your preference. The fatter the milk, the porridge will turn out tastier, but its calorie content will increase. The choice is yours.
- When the milk boils, we reduce the heat and very carefully add a little dry ingredients, constantly stirring with a spoon or whisk, so that no lumps form.
- Cook semolina for 10 minutes on the smallest fire. Then turn off the fire, cover the pan with a lid and let it brew for 5 to 10 minutes. We spread the finished porridge on plates, optionally, add butter and various additives that you like.
Secrets of making semolina porridge
- To cook the correct and tasty semolina, you should adhere to the correct proportions of the products. The degree of porridge density depends on this. If you want to get liquid porridge, then for 1 liter of milk you need to add 3 tbsp. l semolina. The more spoons of semolina you add, the thicker the porridge will come out of. If you do not want to cook porridge with milk alone, then it can be diluted with water, for example, one part of milk to three parts of water. But the most delicious porridge is obtained with the addition of more milk.
- The correctness of falling asleep is of great importance. Croup should be poured into boiling milk and in very small quantities, while constantly stirring. For these purposes, a whisk is perfect, which will help rid porridge from the formation of unpleasant lumps.
- Porridge will turn out very tasty if you add salt and sugar at the boil stage of milk. You can pre-mix semolina with sugar and salt, and when the milk boils, pour it all together. Also, to improve the taste, at the end of the preparation of cereal, you can add a piece of butter, berries or fruits, jam or jam, dried fruits or candied fruits.
