Kitchen appliances and utensils: plate, sieve, molds for jelly, stewpan, bowl, strainer, tablespoon.
Ingredients
berry jam | 1 stack |
granulated sugar | ½ stack. |
water | 2.5 stack |
gelatin | 20 g |
Red wine | 2 tbsp. l |
Step cooking
- In a small container we place 20 grams of gelatin. Boil water, pour ⅔ cup of water, let it cool to room temperature, and then place it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to make it cold. When the water becomes cold, we take it out of the refrigerator, pour it into a container with gelatin, mix with a teaspoon, set aside for one hour so that the gelatin swells.
- In a separate bowl we place one glass of any berry jam. Boil the water in an electric kettle, pour 2.5 cups of hot boiled water into a bowl with jam.
- Add half a glass of granulated sugar to this mixture, mix with a tablespoon until sugar is completely dissolved.
- When the sugar has completely dissolved, put a thick sieve on the stewpan, pass the mixture of water, jam and sugar through it. Then add the swollen gelatin to the stewpan.
- We put the stewpan with liquid on the stove, turn on the fire, bring to a boil, but do not boil. At this time, while the liquid is heating, we constantly stir the gelatin with a tablespoon so that it dissolves faster and does not sink to the bottom of the stewpan.
- When bubbles begin to appear on the surface of the berry mixture and it will be seen that boiling is about to take place, turn off the fire under the stew-pan, remove it to the side.
- Then we add two tablespoons of red wine of any grade and producer to the stewpan: it depends on your preference.
- Mix, cover the stewpan with a lid and let the wine-berry mixture cool to room temperature. On the desktop we put several small molds into which we will pour jelly. In each container on the bottom we lay out several berries from the jam, which was used for jelly, through the sieve we add the real jelly to the forms.
- We place all the molds in the refrigerator, hold there until completely solidified.
When the jelly has completely hardened, it can be served on the table.
