Step cooking
- The dough is cooked quickly, so start with the filling. Peel 5-6 medium potatoes, salt, fill with cold water and set to cook on the stove until cooked.
- Finely chop two onions and fry in vegetable oil until golden and soft.
- When the potatoes are boiled, drain the water from the pan and add the fried onions, 2 tbsp. l butter, black pepper and salt to taste. You can add a little green.
- Knead everything well, you should get soft mashed potatoes. Delicious filling is ready.
- While the filling for pies cools, you need to cook the dough. Pour 250 ml of kefir at room temperature, 1 teaspoon of sugar, half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of soda into a bowl. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk, kefir will start to foam, and the soda will be extinguished.
- Add 1 cup sifted flour in parts and knead the dough.
- After pouring half the flour and the dough becomes thicker, add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix well.
- Pour the remaining 1 cup of flour onto the table and put the resulting dough into it and mix well.
- Pour the dough with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Divide the dough into 10 equal parts and roll the ball from each part. We remove them under the film.
- We take one ball and roll it into a cake, put 1 tablespoon of the filling with a slide.
- We pinch the edges and do the same with the rest of the balls of dough.
- We heat the pan, pour the sunflower oil in it and put the pies there with the seam down.
- Fry on both sides until golden brown over medium heat.
- Put the prepared pies on a paper towel so that the excess fat is gone.
- We do the same with the rest of the pies. Enjoy your meal!
Tips
- You can make the filling to your taste: cabbage, eggs with onions, fruits and berries.
- Serve the dish on the table by pouring sour cream on top.
- Prepare a simple salad of vegetables and chicken in addition to the dish. To do this, take fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers and herbs, and cut into medium slices. Cut the chicken into small pieces, salt and fry in a pan until golden brown. Put the finished fillet and chopped vegetables in a plate, salt, pepper and season to taste with vegetable oil or sour cream.
