Cooking time is minimal, and the result is aromatic and tasty. The taste of dumplings cooked in a slow cooker is completely different than that of boiled in water.
- Place frozen dumplings (400 g) on a plate. You do not need to defrost them; during preliminary defrosting, the dumplings stick together, and you will not succeed in preparing an appetizing dish from them. Turn on the slow cooker. Select the “Fry” (or “Deep Fry”) mode.
- Set the time to 10 minutes. Pour vegetable oil (40-50 ml) into the bowl. Wait for a signal indicating the set temperature.
- Put the dumplings in the butter. There are two ways to fry frozen products. The first way is to fry the dumplings first on one side until golden brown, then turn over to the other side. With this method of frying, you do not need to stand at the multicooker even for that short time during which the dish is prepared. Or the second way - fry the dumplings, constantly mixing them. In both cases, after about 8-10 minutes, the dumplings will be covered with a golden golden crust.
- Pour boiled water (100 ml) into the bowl.
- Add dried thyme (to taste), mix. Fry the dumplings until boiling water, about 4-5 minutes.
- Salt and pepper to taste, mix. Serve hot, garnishing with parsley leaves (2 branches).
By the way, you can fry dumplings in a slow cooker without vegetable oil, but in this case the products will not have such a crispy golden crust and a rich meat aroma.
You can prepare a quick sauce for the dish, for example, sour cream with garlic or any other. If desired, add finely chopped garlic and herbs to the multicooker bowl at the final stage of cooking, then the dumplings will acquire an additional taste and special aroma.
When cooking, use various spices and herbs, the choice of which depends on your preference. On the table for dumplings, you can serve sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, fresh vegetable salad.
