Step cooking
- Rinse 1 kilogram of chicken liver under running water. Remove excess films, large streaks and vessels. Cut each piece in half. 2 onions, peel and cut into cubes or half rings. Wash and peel 1 carrot. Rub on a coarse grater or cut into circles.
Did you know? Unlike beef or pork, chicken liver is more tender and does not bite at all. Before cooking chicken liver with vegetables, it does not need to be soaked. But if you are not cooking chicken liver, then you should more thoroughly approach its preparation. Soak the liver, washed and cut into small pieces, in cold milk for 30-40 minutes, then dry with paper towels. If you do not have milk, then you can sprinkle each piece of baking soda and leave for 1 hour. After that, rinse it thoroughly under running water and dry it. Thanks to these actions, beef or pork liver will be tender and not bitter. - Pour vegetable oil onto a hot pan. Put onion on it. Fry it until transparent.
- Add carrots to the onion. Stir and leave in the pan for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour half a glass of flour into a separate bowl. Roll each piece of chicken liver in flour and send to the pan to the vegetables.
- Shuffle. Fry for 30 seconds on each side.
- After this, boil the water. Pour 1 cup of hot water into the pan. Stir and cover. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
- After this time, salt the liver to taste. Add your favorite spices: picking seasonings for meat, black pepper, bay leaf, etc. Shuffle.
- Stew for another 5-7 minutes. The dish is ready. Enjoy your meal!
