- Boil 750 ml of drinking water in a kettle. Cool the water to a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. Warm the heat-resistant cookware over steam or rinse it with boiling water. It is best to brew tea in a china with a lid. Pour 1 tablespoon of green tea leaves into a warm tea-making jug or large-capacity porcelain teapot. Add 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and slices of ginger root. Ginger gives the drink a slightly burning, invigorating taste. Spice enhances aroma. If you like herbs, add mint leaves, lemon balm, strawberries to the tea leaves. Such a drink will be even more useful and vitamin.
- Pour the ingredients with hot water at a temperature of 80 ° C. Cover with a lid, a kitchen towel, a heating pad for a kettle. Let it brew for 5-6 minutes.
- Add chopped lemon to tea. Putting lemon in boiling water is not recommended, since at high temperature the structure of ascorbic acid contained in citrus is destroyed. Adding lemon slices at a temperature of 60-65 ° C preserves not only the taste characteristics of tea, but also its beneficial properties. Many tea lovers add a slice of citrus to the drink only after the liquid has cooled. Add sugar or honey to taste.
