Step cooking
- To make a cookie dough, place the pan on a stove with a small fire. Put 100 grams of butter in it, then pour about 300-350 ml of warm water.
- Add a pinch of salt to the pan and bring water and oil to a boil.
- After the water and oil boil, remove the pan from the stove. Pour 250 grams of flour into it and mix quickly with a mixer. If you don’t have a mixer, use a regular whisk. Slowly pour the flour into the pan, whisking with a whisk until a thick mass.
- First add one egg to the pan and beat with a mixer, pour sugar to taste.
- Next, alternately add the remaining 3 eggs, each time well beating with a mixer.
- When you have a soft, elastic and even shiny dough, prepare a baking tray, cover it with parchment paper. If desired, the paper can be greased with butter.
- Using two teaspoons, place the balls in small balls on a baking sheet. To make the dough better stick to them, soak the spoons with cold water. Also, if you wish, you can give the dough a more oblong shape. And if you have a culinary syringe or a pastry bag at home, then of course you can use them.
- Preheat the oven to 200 ºС and put the cookies to bake for about 30-40 minutes. Depending on your oven, you may need less time. Therefore, sometimes look at cookies so as not to burn. But not often, so that the dough does not settle.
- It will be ready when covered with a golden crust.
- Gently place the finished cookies in a plate with a kitchen spatula. About 3 baking sheets are obtained from this amount of ingredients. Put cookies on a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar. If you will cook each batch on the same baking sheet, then cool it with cold water before laying out the dough.
At your request, choux pastry can be decorated with melted chocolate or icing, which will especially emphasize its taste.
