Step cooking
- Wash the apples (2-3 pieces), peel, cut into pieces, remove the core and cut the slices into small cubes. Transfer the cubes of apples into a bowl. On a fine grater, grate the apples with a zest of lemon or orange (about 1 teaspoon) and sprinkle the pieces with a little lemon juice (1-1.5 teaspoon), this will help the apples maintain a light color. Mix well and set aside.
- In a clean bowl, beat the chicken eggs (3 pieces) and add sugar (2/3 cups) and vanilla sugar (1 teaspoon) to them. Beat the ingredients well with a mixer in a lush white mass, it will take about 3 minutes.
- In a lush mass, add sour cream (a tablespoon) and salt (1/3 teaspoon) and mix gently.
- Sift flour (1 cup) into a bowl and add baking powder (1/2 teaspoon). Knead the dough with a whisk. The dough should turn out a little thicker than on pancakes.
- Using a silicone brush, grease a mold with a diameter of 22-24 cm with a little vegetable oil and put the prepared apples on the bottom. Flatten them with a spatula, evenly distributing on the bottom of the form.
- Pour the dough on top of the apples and also smooth it with a spatula evenly over the entire surface. Do not mix!
- Bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees to a beautiful golden crust. Depending on the size of the mold and the dough layer, this will take 30-40 minutes. Remove the finished cake from the oven and let it cool slightly in shape.
- Carefully draw a knife along the sides of the mold so that the cake easily comes out of it. Turn the cake on a large plate or dish so that the layer of apples is at the top. Let the cake cool completely and decorate it with icing sugar using 30-50 grams of the product. Serve a tea cake at a family tea party or tea party with close friends.
