- freshly squeezed lemon juice - 40 ml
- basil - 5 g
- hot red pepper - 3 g
- liquid honey - 30 g
- salt 5 g
Step cooking
Prepare the products
- First of all, we thoroughly wash 5 medium tomatoes under cold tap water, after which we wipe them dry with paper towels. Cut the stem and cut the fruit into thin circles, the thickness of which is about 3 mm.
- Peel 3 medium onions and 4 cloves of garlic. Chop onions into thin rings, and finely chop the garlic with a knife. In this recipe, it is quite possible to chop the garlic through a garlic squeezer, but in this case the delicate aroma of this product is lost.
- Pour 30 g of liquid honey into a separate bowl. If you have candied or thick honey, then be sure to melt it in a water bath, and then cool to a warm state. Add about 40 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice to honey, which was previously passed through a gauze filter or a fine strainer.
- Pour 80 ml of refined sunflower or olive oil there and add 5 g of salt, 3 g of ground hot red pepper, 5 g of dried basil.
- Thoroughly mix the components of the sauce until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
Make a snack
- We take a suitable small dish and collect the snack in it in layers. We spread half of the total mass of tomatoes with the first layer. On top of the tomatoes lay out a portion of chopped onion and garlic.
- Next, we again form a layer of tomatoes, then the remaining onion rings and pieces of garlic. Fill the dressing from above, close the container with a lid and shake everything well.
- We send an appetizer to the refrigerator for at least half an hour. The longer the snack is infused, the tastier it will turn out.
