Step cooking
- For the preparation of closed pizza you will need yeast dough, you can buy it ready-made in the store or make it at home. Divide the whole dough into 2 equal portions for the base and the “cover”. One of the parts is evenly rolled out over the area of the baking sheet, previously lubricated with vegetable oil.
- As a sauce, we use ketchup, tomato paste or grated tomatoes in the amount of several tablespoons. Aromatic herbs can be added as desired.
- Grate 50 g of hard cheese on a coarse grater and lightly sprinkle sauce on them so that the pizza sticks better when the cheese melts.
- Sausage (it can be any: boiled or smoked, to your taste) is cut into thin strips and evenly spread with the next layer.
- We wash the bell pepper and remove the inedible parts. Cut into small cubes and also send to pizza. For more piquancy and pungency, you can add a little hot pepper.
- The next layer will be pickled pickles. We wash them from excess brine and cut into small cubes or just circles.
- The remaining 150 g of cheese is grated on a coarse grater and sprinkled abundantly with the rest of the pizza filling. For a variety of tastes, you can take different varieties of cheese in the indicated proportions.
- We roll out the second part of the test, put the fillings on top and connect the edges well so that there are no gaps and the pizza does not open.
- Grease this layer of dough with a mixture of 1 chicken egg and 50 ml of milk, this will give an extra golden crust to the finished dish. To let steam escape from the pizza during cooking, you can make several holes in the dough.
- Preheat the oven to 205-230ºС, prepare pizza in it for 40-45 minutes. Readiness can be checked with a wooden stick.
- Serve hot pizza, sliced into portions. On request, decorate with fresh herbs and a variety of sauces.
