Step cooking
- Sprinkle a small amount of flour onto the work surface and roll out 650 grams of puff pastry.
- We form an even rectangle from the reservoir, cutting off uneven edges.
- We cut the whole dough into equal small rectangles measuring about 10 by 5 centimeters.
- Pour 45 grams of granulated sugar onto a chopping board. We shake out each rectangle from flour and put on sugar.
- Using a rolling pin, lightly crush the dough to sugar. So we do with all the rectangles.
- We cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and put the future tongues on it. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
- We wash, peel, remove the core and cut into small cubes one large apple. Lightly roll apple slices in sugar and decorate them with tongues.
- Put in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the sugar begins to turn into caramel. When the baking is ready, take out the baking sheet, put the tongues on a large plate and let cool.

- This recipe uses homemade dough prepared in advance. But if you do not have time to fuss with the test, then you can safely use what you bought in the store. Before cooking, be sure to defrost it.
- This baking is very simple not only in cooking, but also in appearance. If you want to make it more festive, then show imagination.
- For example, decorate the top of puffs with raspberries, strawberries, currants, and so on. But if it is fruit or berries with pits, then they must first be removed.
- You can also decorate the tongues with berry, chocolate or caramel topping.
