Ingredients
- Round rice - 500 g
- Rice Vinegar - 90 g
- Sugar - 95 g
- Salt - 22 g
- Cucumber - 1-2 pcs.
- Avocado - 1-2 pcs.
- Philadelphia Cheese - 250 g
- Nori - ½ pack
- Red fish - 500 g
Step cooking
- Rinse rice until water is clear.
- We put the foil on the bottom of the pan. We spread the rice there and level it.
- Pour water so that it covers the rice on one phalanx of the finger.
- We put rice on the fire more than average. Cook rice under the lid for 15 minutes. Without opening the lid, set the rice aside and leave for another 15 minutes.
- Pour vinegar into a separate bowl, add salt and sugar. We put on a small fire and dissolve sugar and salt. Vinegar should not boil!
- We remove the bowl from the fire and cover with a lid.
- Put rice and vinegar together, pouring vinegar into rice. Mix.
- We shift the rice into a large glass form and leave it to cool for about half an hour.
- Cover the rice with a damp cotton towel.
- Remove the fish from the skin and cut it into oblong wide pieces so that it can be laid out on sushi, and not inside. Sushi will be inverted.
- We clear the cucumbers from the skins and cut them into strips.
- We also split the avocado, remove the stone, cut the avocado along and twist it in half.
- Remove the skin and cut the avocado into thin strips.
- Preparing a solution for the hands. In 200 milliliters of water, add a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and juice from half a lemon.
- Take a mat for sushi, wrap it in cling film on both sides.
- We take the nori and lay the rice on the rough side: divide the nori in half, lay the nori on the rough side up. Wet the hand in water, take a small amount of rice. It will take about 90 grams per roll. We make a ball of rice and distribute the rice throughout the nori from edge to edge.
- Turn the roll over and put it to the very edge of the mat.
- On the back of the nori we place the cheese and put it in a strip.
- Cucumbers are spread on one side of the cheese, and avocados are spread on the other.
- We take the edge, spin the roll with a rug and completely close the roll.
- We put red fish on top of the roll.
- With the fish, bend the roll slightly again with the rug.
- The second option for sushi is the California roll. We do it in the same way as the Philadelphia roll. We spread the rice, turn the nori.
- We put the cheese in the center of the strip, then on the one hand we put the avocado, on the other we spread the fish.
- Wrap the roll.
- Sprinkle sesame on the side of the mat and wrap the roll again so that the sesame seeds completely cover the roll.
- Before cutting the roll, wet the knife in water. We cut each roll in half, then into several parts.
- Serve rolls with wassabi and ginger. Rolls are ready - Bon appetit!
