Step cooking
- Turn on the oven at 160 ° C. Cut the meat from six chicken legs. It will be nice if the meat can be removed from the bone without damage, but even if it doesn’t work out - it's okay, the taste will not change.
- Skin the chicken breast and legs. If you are not an opponent of peels in ham, then skip this step. We cut the meat into thin strips about a centimeter thick.
- Salt the meat and pepper. Add seasonings for chicken. Pour Italian herbs. Here you can add any other seasonings that you like. French mustard also goes well to taste with chicken.
- Peel three large cloves of garlic. Using a garlic press, squeeze it into the meat.
- All mix well. Each piece should be salted and boned in seasoning. We divide all the chopped meat in half, while in one part let only the meat from the legs, and in the second from the legs and brisket. This is done so that later you can compare which part of the chicken you like ham better from. If it is difficult for you to distinguish between brisket meat and leg meat, then we transfer this step above - salt and pepper in different bowls.
- We put the meat in two disposable "brick" tins (they are usually used for baking small loaves of bread). Evenly distribute the meat and squeeze a little, ramming with a spoon.
- We cover the molds with lids, for example, from hard cardboard wrapped in foil. Such "caps" are often found in packs of cookies or sweets. Put the molds on a baking sheet and pour a glass of water in it. Caution so that water does not get into the molds.
- Bake meat for 1 hour 30 minutes. When the meat is ready, we will oppress. You can trim the lids so that they fall into the mold, and put on top any heavy clean object - a rolled up jar, a glass with nuts, screws, an iron mug with water. We send the molds together with the oppression in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
- After the set time, we take out the ready-made ham from the mold and cut off the excess “jellied meat”. Chicken meat ham is ready! It should come out quite dense, very tender and fragrant. Enjoy your meal!
