Step cooking

- We sort out 1 kg of grapes and fill it with 500 g of sugar.
- Leave the grapes with sugar for 12 hours, so that the berries let the juice. Add 100 ml of water and 1 lemon juice to the container with grapes.
- Pour the resulting ingredients with 400 ml of water and bring the liquid to a boil.
- Add 8 g of agar-agar thickener to the liquid. Mix.
- The resulting jam is rolled into jars.

- Most suitable for making grape jam are varieties with large fleshy berries and a strong skin.
- Jam from light varieties will turn out more transparent, and from dark ones - a saturated pink or burgundy shade.
- To give jam a more piquant taste, cinnamon, cloves or mint can be used in the recipe.
- Grapes can be combined with currants or gooseberries. This will give the delicacy a rich and original taste.
- Keep jam in a cool, dark place under a tightly closed airtight lid.
- The shelf life of such a treat is no more than 6 months.
