Plum jam is one of the most popular fruit desserts. Fragrant, sweet and sour and beautiful, it will surely appeal to both adults and children. We suggest you get acquainted with a very simple recipe for plum delicacies, for the preparation of which you need only 2 ingredients.
- We wash the plums weighing 3 kg and separate the seeds from them.
- Cut the fruit into slices, fill them with 3 kg of sugar, cover with cling film and leave for 12 hours.
- We transfer the plums with syrup into an aluminum pan and put on the stove.
- Cook the jam for 50 minutes, constantly stirring it and from time to time reducing the fire. Beat the contents of the pan with a blender.
- We return the pan to the stove and boil the jam obtained for 5 minutes, slightly covering it with a lid. Remove the foam from the jam and pour it into sterilized jars.
Did you know? Jam jars can be sterilized by pouring some water in them and placing in the microwave for 10 minutes. The prepared plum jam turns out to be incredibly fragrant and sweet.
