Ingredients
- Watermelon Peel - 900 g
- Sugar - 900 g
- Lemon - 1 pc.
Step cooking
- Peel a few watermelons to get 900 g of watermelon peels without greens.
- Chop the white pulp into cubes and add 900 g of sugar. Leave the mixture overnight.
- Set the infused and letting juice mixture on the fire and bring to a boil. Let the mixture boil for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, add 1 peeled and chopped lemon to the composition. The zest must be grated separately and also added to the pan. The main thing is that there should be no stones and a white part.
- Mix everything and let the composition boil for another 10-15 minutes.
- Turn off the jam and let it brew for several more hours until completely cooled. Put the cooled jam on the fire again and cook until all the pieces are transparent. Put the jam in clean, dry jars and cover.
