Step cooking

- To begin with, melt 200 g of butter, but do not bring it to a boil. Leave the oil to cool at room temperature.
- In a deep bowl, beat 5 eggs and add a pinch of salt, then beat the egg mixture with a mixer or fork until smooth.
- Then add 200 g of granulated sugar to this mixture and mix thoroughly so that the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour 200 g of melted cooled butter into the egg-sugar mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Sift 250 g of wheat flour through a sieve into a separate bowl, then add the flour to the eggs and butter in several steps, mix the dough until smooth.
- By consistency, it should resemble thick sour cream.
- Pour 1 tbsp into the electric waffle iron l prepared dough and close it, slightly pressing down with your hands so that the dough is distributed over the entire area.
- Cook the waffles for 1 minute, then open the waffle iron, use a spatula to remove the waffle and hot form a tube from it.
- So bake waffles from the rest of the dough, not forgetting to immediately roll them.
Classic custard
- In a deep bowl, beat 4 eggs, add 200 g of granulated sugar to them and beat the egg mixture with a mixer until the sugar dissolves.
- Add a bag of vanillin to the sugar-egg mixture, it will give the cream a pleasant aroma.
- Next to these ingredients add 2 tbsp. l sifted flour and mix again with a mixer to remove lumps.
- Then pour 500 ml of cold milk, mix again until smooth.
- Pour the resulting mixture into a stewpan with a thick bottom and put it on a small fire, bring the cream to a boil. While boiling the cream, it must be constantly stirred, otherwise it will burn. The approximate cooking time of the custard is 10-15 minutes.
- When the cream has thickened, add 150 g of butter to it and mix well to melt it. If the cream is not thick enough, hold it a little longer on the fire, but do not forget to interfere.
- After you remove it from the fire, use the mixer again, it will help to evenly mix all the ingredients.
- Let the custard cool down a bit, and then fill them with wafer rolls using a teaspoon or pastry bag.
