Step cooking
- We will bake a cupcake in a special round shape, but if there is none, then you can bake in a regular one. First, send 150 g of cottage cheese to the bowl of the bread machine. You can take cottage cheese of any fat content.
- Add 50-100 g of sugar (to taste), 0.5 teaspoon of salt, one egg and fill everything with milk.
- We send 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the bowl. Sift 450 g of flour.
- We rinse and dry about half a glass of raisins (you can take candied fruits to your taste). Alternately add the flour and raisins to the bowl of the bread machine (raisins can be added not with the flour, but when there is a signal for the bread machine).
- In the flour we make a depression and pour into it 7 g of dry yeast.
- Bucket with ingredients set in the bread machine.
- Choose the baking mode “Sweet bread”, 900 g. It will last 2 hours 50 minutes. Choose a medium crust.
- Cook sugar icing to coat the cupcake. To do this, take one egg and gently separate the protein from the yolk. One protein will require 5-7 tablespoons of sugar.
- Pour the protein into a bowl and begin to whisk with a mixer, gradually adding sugar. Beat until we get a white homogeneous mass.
- After 2 hours and 50 minutes, we remove the cake from the bread machine and allow it to cool.
- Then cover the top of the cake with the prepared glaze.
Ways of decorating and serving
If you bake this cupcake for Easter as a cake, then you can decorate it in different ways.
- Sugar and egg glaze, which we prepared to cover not the entire top of the cake, but draw with it patterns in the form of twigs and flowers and the inscription ХВ.
- Another option: melt the sugar in a saucepan to a liquid state with the addition of a spoonful of water and cover this cupcake with this icing. Then put the apricots, raisins, candied fruits and nuts in the center of the cupcake and cover with sugar icing again.
- Another option: to melt in a microwave or in a water bath a bar of dark dark chocolate, place it in a pastry bag and draw patterns on a cake covered with sugar-egg glaze.
- White glaze can also be decorated with confectionery sprinkles - multi-colored or in color, white and silver in different sizes. Such an ornament will look very stylish.
