Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 250 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Sugar - 40 g
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp.
- Orange peel - 1 tbsp. l
- Flour - 250-300 g
- Baking powder - 11 g
- Powdered sugar - to taste
Step cooking
- Pour 250 g of cottage cheese into a separate deep container.
- Add 1 pinch of salt, 40 g sugar, 1 tsp to the cottage cheese. vanilla extract, 1 tbsp. l zest of orange and 2 eggs. Beat the resulting mass with a submersible blender until smooth.
- Place a sieve over the container with the resulting composition. Pour 250-30 g of flour and 11 g of baking powder into it. Sift flour over whipped composition. Stir everything from time to time. Add the flour until the dough is sticky and whole.
- Put the dough on the table and knead it in flour.
- Next, wrap the dough on the work surface with a film and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Divide the resulting test com into 2 parts. Cover one of them with foil and roll the other into a tourniquet.
- Cut the resulting tourniquet into identical pieces of 2-3 cm.
- Roll each piece into a ball, which will be your future donut (you should do the same with the second part of the test).
- Pour a large amount of oil into the pan and turn on the hotplate. Donuts are prepared by floating in oil.
- Dip your donuts in hot oil. Stir them from time to time to keep the roast uniform.
- Move the finished donuts of a beautiful golden color to a container covered with paper towels.
- Before serving, sprinkle the finished donuts with icing sugar to taste.
