Step cooking
- It is most convenient to knead the curd dough with your hands than in a food processor. Choose a deep bowl to knead the dough. We put 200 g of cottage cheese in a large bowl. It is better to use a homemade fermented milk product for the test, but if this was not found, then take ordinary store cheese. Add a pinch of salt and 1 packet of vanilla sugar to the cottage cheese. Also, in a bowl with cottage cheese, we send 70 g of ordinary sugar.
- For the test you will need 250 g of butter. It must be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that it melts slightly and becomes soft. Soft butter is sent to a bowl with cottage cheese and other ingredients. We carefully rub all products for the test with our hands until a homogeneous mass is formed. You can knead the ingredients with a spoon or a fork, but with your hands it can be done much more convenient and faster.
- In a separate bowl, mix the bulk ingredients. It will take 330 g of wheat flour, which does not have to be sieved. Add 1 tsp to flour. baking powder and stir well. In small portions, add the flour, together with the baking powder, to the resulting curd mass. After each addition of flour, you must carefully knead the dough with your hands. Kneading the curd dough with your hands, there is no need to additionally beat the curd with a blender, since it will turn out very small and soft.
- After adding the whole amount of flour, we continue to knead the dough on the table. It should turn out soft, plastic and not stick to your hands.
- We put well-mixed curd dough in a plastic bag or wrap tightly in cling film. The dough must be placed in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to cool slightly.
- After 30 minutes, the curd dough is completely ready, you can take it out of the refrigerator and start cooking the apple pie. The dough after baking is very tasty, tender and with a pleasant cottage cheese flavor.
