Ingredients
Product | amount |

flour | 200-250 g |
butter | 100 g |
baking powder | 10 g |
sugar | 5 tbsp. l |
cinnamon | 2 tsp |
salt | pinch |
Step cooking
- Pour 150 g (or a pack) of cottage cheese into a deep bowl, put 100 g of butter on top and mash well with a fork.
- Pour 200-250 g of flour, the amount depends on whether your cottage cheese is liquid or dense. If it’s liquid, more flour will be needed, if it’s thicker, less will be needed, so pour the flour gradually.
- Add baking powder and mix well.
- When the dough begins to form, knead it with your hands until it becomes flat, smooth and non-sticky.
- Form a ball from the dough, put it in a plastic bag or cling film and put in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
- Remove the dough from the cold, roll it into a large sausage with your hands and cut into 3 parts. Prepare a baking sheet, cover it with parchment or baking paper.
- Take one piece of dough, roll a rolling pin into a thin circle, cut out circles with a glass or a pastry ring.
- Pour 5 tbsp into a plate. l Sahara. Take one circle, dip in sugar on one side.
- Fold it in half with the sugar side inwards.
- Dip one side again, fold in half again. You should have a puffy triangle.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet with the side that is sugar free. If you put it wrong, the cookies will burn out faster than they need to be cooked, and besides, they will not get a very pleasant, rancid taste. When you put the formed ear on a baking sheet, you will need to press it down. If this is not done, during the heat treatment the cookies may turn around and the classic shape of the eye will fail. Form all the circles in the ears and move on to the next piece of dough.
- With the third piece, you can do a little different. Add 2 tsp to the sugar remaining in the plate. cinnamon and mix.
- Dip circles of dough in a new mixture. So you diversify the taste of the ears, and on a dish the mixture of golden and brown cookies will look much more interesting.
- When all the ears are ready, send the pan to the oven, heated to 180 degrees.
- Bake at the same temperature for 15-20 minutes.
- You should have a delicious airy cookie, with a crispy crust on the outside thanks to caramelization of sugar, and a soft texture inside.
