- 30-40 minutes before the start of cooking, we take it out of the refrigerator so that it becomes room temperature, and you can work with it. In a deep container we place 200 g of cottage cheese, add 80 g of soft butter, 1 pinch of salt and knead with a fork until a creamy homogeneous mass is obtained.
- In another deep container, mix 220-250 g of flour, 7 g of baking powder and 1-2 g of vanillin. We take a sieve, through it into the cottage cheese-oil mass sift 1/3 of the flour mixture and carefully stir with a fork. Then sift another 1/3 of the bulk ingredients and stir again with a fork.
- Sift through the sieve the rest of the flour mixture and begin to knead the dough by hand.
- When the dough becomes soft and does not stick to your hands, we form a ball out of it, put it in a container, cover it with cling film so that it does not wind off, and leave it to rest for 30-40 minutes.
Biscuit
- After 30-40 minutes, remove the film from the container, take out our dough and divide it with a knife into approximately equal halves. Put one of them aside, and put the second on the work surface, sprinkled with 0.5 tbsp. l flour.
- We take a rolling pin and roll out half of the dough into a layer about 2 mm thick.
- Using a glass, cut out circles from the rolled dough, and then remove the excess pieces to the side. Now roll out on powdered 0.5 tbsp. l the flour of the surface the second half of the dough and also cut out circles with a glass, and remove the pieces. We collect our extra pieces into a lump, form a ball, roll it out and cut out a few more circles with a glass until our dough is over. Pour 5-6 tbsp into the bowl. l Sahara.
- Set our oven at 180 ° C and leave to warm. Cover a sheet of baking sheet with parchment paper. Take one circle of dough, dip it in sugar on one side, then fold in half the sugar side inward and gently press with your fingers. Again, dip the semicircle in sugar on one side and add sugar inward, forming a quarter circle.
- Dip the resulting cookies in sugar and spread it on the baking sheet covered with parchment paper with the sugar side up.
- In a similar way, we form all our cookies and put them on a baking sheet at a small distance from each other. We put a sheet of baking sheet with cookies in an already preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until our products become a beautiful golden hue. We take out the baking sheet from the oven, remove the cookies with a spatula and send it to the dinner plate to cool. When the cookie cools down, put it on a dessert plate and serve.
Important! To prevent curd grains in the dough, before starting cooking, it is best to grind the curd in a blender or rub through a sieve.
