Ingredients

Fresh squids | 800 g |
Sour cream | 400 g |
Onion | 1 PC. |

Step cooking
- Onions (1 pc.) Are cleaned, washed and cut into half rings with a knife.
- Squid carcasses (800 g) are thoroughly cleaned from the insides and films (if necessary) and washed under running water (under the tap). Cut the squid into thin rings (about 0.5 - 0.8 cm wide) or straws.
- We put the pan on the fire and pour 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil.
- Put the chopped onion in a frying pan and fry it over medium heat until golden, stirring occasionally.
- When the onion is fried, pour sour cream (400 g) into the pan, mix it with the onion and let this mixture boil.
- Add boiled sour cream previously sliced squid rings.
- Thoroughly mix the entire contents of the pan with a spatula. Salt and pepper squid to taste. Mix.
- We cover the pan with a lid and simmer its contents for about 3 to 4 minutes over a small fire. After a specified period of time, turn off the fire and let the dish stand for 5 to 10 minutes under the lid. Then we lay out the dish on plates and proceed to the meal. Enjoy your meal!
Serving and decorating dishes
Best squid stewed in sour cream, combined with a side dish in the form of boiled rice and mashed potatoes (or just boiled mashed potatoes), as well as a light salad of fresh vegetables. You can decorate such a dish when serving with fresh chopped greens: parsley or dill. Such squids can be served both in cold and in hot form - this will not significantly affect their taste.
