loose black tea | 2 tsp |

Step cooking
- To begin with, thaw two mackerels, and then clean them from the insides, be sure to remove the black film so that it does not get bitter in the future. Then cut off the heads, tails and all the fins, rinse the fish well under running water.
- Slice the mackerel into batch slices 2-3 cm thick and put in a deep bowl.
- Salt the chopped fish on one side and the other, for this use about 1.5 tsp. salt.
- Pour 2 tsp into the pan. loose black tea. Boil about 250 ml of water in a teapot and pour tea into it, leave it to brew. You can use tea from bags.
- In the meantime, peel and chop 3 large heads of onions with not very thin half rings.
- Prepare a pan with a thick bottom for stewing fish. Put a layer of onion on the bottom of the pan, and a layer of fish on top of it.
- Then sprinkle with half a teaspoon of black pepper peas, and 5 peas allspice.
- After that, lay out a layer of onions again, but not all, and the remaining fish, also sprinkle with pepper.
- Then lay on top all the remaining onions. Pour in all the vegetable refined oil, about 80 ml, and strain the brewed tea in a pan.
- Send the pan of fish to the stove to boil, and after boiling, make the fire slow and cook the fish for another 2.5 hours without stirring.
- After this time, add 4 bay leaves to the fish and simmer over low heat for another 15-20 minutes. Then turn off the stove and let the fish cool completely under a tightly closed lid.
- The finished fish turned out to be fragrant, it does not fall apart, and thanks to black tea it has acquired a beautiful amber color.
You can serve the finished fish with fresh vegetables and rice, decorating with herbs, any other side dish will also suit your taste. And the stewed onion and the remaining oil are well suited as gravy.
