Step cooking
- Three medium-sized bulbs are peeled. My onions under running cold water, cut into half rings on a cutting board, set aside.
- We put a pan on the stove, pour 100 ml of odorless vegetable oil there, heat it. When the oil warms up, put the onion sliced in half rings in a pan and fry it a little. Fry the onion over low heat until transparent, do not forget to mix it so that it does not burn.
- Meanwhile, under the tap, two sweet bell peppers. We remove the stalk, cut in half and remove the internal seeds. On a cutting board, cut the halves of pepper into strips, remove to the side.
- Three fresh, medium-sized tomatoes, washed under running water, cut in half, remove the stalk, cut the tomatoes in half rings.
- We wash the chicken liver under running water, remove excess veins, fat, cut into large pieces.
- The onion in the pan has already acquired transparency. Add sliced sweet bell pepper to it. Slightly fry the pepper along with the onion, mix the ingredients with a kitchen spatula for uniform frying.
- Add 70 grams of wheat flour to the chopped liver, take a tablespoon, mix the liver thoroughly, bread it. Then we spread the product in a pan, in which onions and bell peppers are fried. Fry the liver, but not for long, literally five minutes, constantly mix all the ingredients in a pan.
- Add to the products one teaspoon of coriander, one incomplete teaspoon of black pepper and one teaspoon of salt. Mix everything thoroughly.
- On top of the liver we spread fresh tomatoes sliced in half rings. We cover the pan with a lid and continue cooking for another five to seven minutes.
We open the lid of the pan, with a kitchen spatula we mix the ingredients very carefully, remove the fire. The stewed chicken liver dish is ready.
Useful Tips
Serve stewed chicken liver on the table with various side dishes: mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes, wheat or buckwheat porridge, rice.
Such a dish can be prepared not only with chicken liver, but also with beef or pork.
Do not cook the liver for more than 15 minutes on fire, as after a long heat treatment the product may be bitter.
