Ingredients
- potatoes - 400 g
- carrots - 1 pc.
- onions - 1 pc.
- garlic - 3 cloves
- vegetable oil - 40 ml
- table or sea salt - optional
- ground black pepper - optional
- seasoning for potatoes - optional
- bottled water - 200-300 ml
- dill greens - optional
- sour cream - 20 g
Step cooking
- First, peel and thoroughly rinse 400 g of potatoes, one small carrot, one onion and 3 cloves of garlic. We cut the onion into thin rings, and then carefully separate them from each other.
- Chop the carrots into slices and garlic into slices.
- Pour 30-40 ml of vegetable oil into a well-heated pan. As soon as the oil is heated, put onion rings, plates of garlic and circles of carrots on it.
- Fry vegetable assortment over medium heat for 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally so that nothing burns.
- Meanwhile, peeled potatoes are cut lengthwise into four equal parts.
- After 5 minutes, we send chopped potatoes to vegetables. Stir the ingredients thoroughly, and then fry them over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add salt, ground black pepper and seasoning for potatoes, focusing on your own taste.
- Once again, mix everything well so that the spices are evenly distributed among the vegetables.
- Pour 200-300 ml of bottled water at room temperature there. The liquid should completely cover the vegetables.
- Immediately add 20 g of sour cream and stir the ingredients well.
- We close the pan with the contents of the lid, reduce the heat to moderate and simmer the vegetables for 15-20 minutes.
- When the potato is easily pierced with a knife, and the liquid evaporates almost completely, then the dish is ready, and you can remove it from the stove. If you have too much water and the potatoes are ready, then increase the heat and simmer vegetables without a lid.
- Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped dill, mix and serve.
