Step-by-step instruction
- Turn on the slow cooker in the "frying" mode, add a little vegetable oil to it. Immediately cut 1 onion, and, without waiting for a signal of heating, send the onion to the slow cooker.
- Grind with a blender or food processor (can be replaced with an ordinary fine grater) 2 pcs. carrots and mix it with onions in a slow cooker, fry onions and carrots together.
- You wash 1–1.2 kg of cabbage forks, remove excess leaves, chop finely - in a food processor or manually.
- Turn off the frying mode on the slow cooker, pour the cabbage into its bowl, mix gently.
- Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 0.5 tablespoon of salt, 0.5 cups of warm water, mix thoroughly.
- Close the lid of the multicooker and set to stew. It is best to choose the cooking mode "beans". This time mode lasts as long as the "stew" mode, but stewed cabbage is still better at the "bean" mode. Cooking time in this mode is 1.5 hours.
- When the slow cooker gives a signal that the cabbage is ready, mix thoroughly and serve. Enjoy your meal!
