Ingredients
Chicken drumstick | 5 pieces. |

White cabbage | 700 g |
Sunflower oil | 4-5 Art. l |
Tomato paste | 70 g |
Granulated sugar | 1 tbsp. l |
Water | 100 ml |
Salt | 0.7 tsp |
Pepper | 1 pinch |
Mixture "Provencal herbs" | 1 tsp |
Parsley | 1 bunch |
Step cooking
- We wash 5 chicken drumsticks under cold water and remove excess moisture from them with kitchen paper towels.
- Carefully cut the meat from the bones together with the skin, trying to leave the bones clean.
- After that, cut it into small pieces.
- We take carrots, peel and cut into small straws with a knife.
- Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes.
- We put a deep frying pan on the fire and heat in it 2 tbsp. l sunflower oil.
- We spread the pieces of chicken meat in the preheated oil and lightly fry over medium heat. Stir the fried meat with a spatula and cover the pan with a lid, leaving it to simmer over medium heat.
- While our meat is being stewed, finely chop 700 g of cabbage, and then cut the resulting slices in half.
- If a lot of liquid has formed during the stewing of chicken meat, gently drain this broth, holding the meat with a lid and leaving a small crack for the liquid to exit, and again put the frying pan on the fire. Add another 2 tbsp. l sunflower oil and fry the chicken until half cooked.
- Now add 0.7 tsp. salt, pour the straws from the carrots to the meat and mix.
- After the carrots, after about 30 seconds, we send the chopped onion into the pan and fry it for a minute, stirring all the ingredients with a spatula, over high heat until golden.
- Now add the chopped cabbage and simmer over medium heat, stirring regularly, until the volume decreases by about 1/3 part.
- After that, lay on top on vegetables with meat 70 g of tomato paste and sprinkle 1 tbsp. l sugar, to remove acidity, add about 100 ml of water and mix everything well.
- We leave it to simmer for 20-25 minutes on medium heat, stirring it regularly with a spatula, and at the same time we do not need to cover with a lid so that the cabbage does not let the juice in and start to boil in it.
- Wash parsley greens under cold water and chop.
- Sprinkle an almost ready dish with a pinch of pepper and 1 tsp. mix Provencal herbs, mix again with a spatula, and after 3-4 minutes turn off the fire.
- We spread the ready cabbage with meat on a plate, decorate with chopped parsley and serve hot.
