Ingredients
- Premium wheat flour - 350 g
- Dough baking powder - 10 g
- Semolina - 35 g
- Powdered Sugar –100 g
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Butter (from the refrigerator) - 130 g
- Lemon - 1/2 pcs.
- Nuts - 50 g
- Purified water - 750 ml
- Sugar - 750 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
Step cooking
- Pour granulated sugar into a pan with water at room temperature and set aside. Sift flour into a deep bowl, add baking powder. Rub the butter on the largest grater in a bowl of flour. At the same time, a piece of oil must be constantly crushed in flour so that it is better rubbed. Rubbed butter with your hands and grind flour into crumbs.
- Add semolina, powdered sugar, vegetable oil to the bowl, and break the chicken eggs here.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with your hands right in the bowl. The result should be a non-sticky and very elastic dough.
- We make a ball from the dough, wrap it in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Turn on the preheat oven to 170 degrees. Grease a baking dish or baking sheet with butter. We make Schekerpare and put it in the form. To do this, tear off a piece from the dough, form a ball out of it and squeeze a little on top.
- We press one nut into each ball. You can use walnuts, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios to your liking.
- We put the baking dish in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Ready Shekerpare have a beautiful ruddy color. At this time, we prepare the syrup for impregnation. To do this, put a pot of water and sugar on a strong fire. Add half the lemon.
- When the mixture boils, mix everything well, reduce the heat and cook for another 5 minutes. We take Shekherpare ready from the oven and pour hot syrup just removed from the stove. Using a ladle, water each little thing.
- We leave the baking sheet with Shekerpare on the table at room temperature, soak in syrup for at least half an hour. But it is advisable to leave for two or three hours. We arrange the ready-made Shekerparas in plates and serve to the table.
