Ingredients
- Sugar - 280 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Butter / Margarine - 125 g
- Soda - 1 tsp.
- Cinnamon - 1 tbsp. l
- Honey - 2-3 tbsp. l
- Flour - 4-5 stack.
- Apple jam - 3-5 tbsp. l
- Water - 2 tbsp. l
Step cooking
- Pour 180 g of sugar into the pan.
- Add 125 g of butter (can be replaced with margarine).
- Drive 2 eggs.
- Add 1 tbsp. l cinnamon.
- Pour 1 tsp. soda.
- Spread here the same 2-3 tbsp. l honey. Mix.
- Set the pan on the stove in a water bath (if you use a pan with a double bottom, you can just put it on fire). By mixing, we expect the mass to become homogeneous. Remove from heat.
- Pour 4-5 cups of flour into the mass, the main thing here is not to overdo it with the flour, so we add it gradually, so that it turns out not a stiff and not sticky dough.
- We divide the dough into parts so that it is convenient to roll out. A small piece is left for decoration.
- Roll out the dough into a layer of about 1 cm thick.
- We cut the layer in strips of 8 cm wide.
- Cut strips 10 cm long.
- In the middle of the strip we lay out a little apple jam (in total it will take 3-5 tbsp. L.).
- Close with another strip, fasten the edges, cutting off the excess.
- So make out all the dough.
- We make decorations from the left piece of dough and your taste and decorate the top of the gingerbread cookies.
- Sprinkle the baking sheet with flour and put the formed gingerbread on it. Set the baking sheet in the oven, heated to 170 ° C, for 20 minutes.
- Pour 100 g of sugar into the pan.
- Add 2 tbsp. l water.
- Set the pan on fire and heat until sugar dissolves.
- With a culinary brush we apply sugar icing on the gingerbread cookies, wait for it to freeze.
