Step cooking
Cream
- Pour 600 g of milk into a liter pan and put on a small fire to heat to a hot state.
- While the milk is heating, we send 4 yolks to a deep container, pour 200 g of sugar, add 10 g of vanilla sugar and thoroughly stir with a whisk for homogeneity. If the mass is very thick, add about 2 tbsp. From the pan to the stove. l milk, then rub with a whisk.
- Pour 50-60 g of flour into the egg mixture and mix again until smooth.
- We remove already warmed milk from the heat and introduce into the egg mass about 100 g of hot milk, without stopping stirring. After the mixture turned out to be quite liquid and without lumps, we introduce the remainder of the milk and stir again.
- Pour the resulting liquid mixture back into the pan and put on a small fire.
- We boil the cream, constantly stirring it with a wooden spoon, until it thickens and starts to stick well on the spoon, then remove from heat.
- Add 50 g of butter and stir until it is completely dissolved.
Cake
- We take a rectangular shape and apply a generous layer of cream to the bottom.
- We spread the chocolate chip cookies close to each other on the cream. To completely cover the entire surface, put broken pieces of cookies on the edges.
- Pour the cream onto the stacked cookies with a ladle and level it with a wooden spoon.
- Peel the bananas, cut into thin circles and spread half on a cream layer.
- Apply a little cream to the circles of bananas to grease the banana layer well.
- On the cream again lay out a dense layer of cookies, after which we cover with plenty of cream.
- We spread banana slices on the cream, grease with cream and spread the remaining cookies. Top with the last layer of cream.
Glaze
- In a pan of 0.5 l, we pour 4 tbsp. l sugar, pour 30 ml of milk, add 2 tbsp. l of cocoa powder and 50 g of butter.
- We stir all the ingredients, put on a small fire and, constantly stirring with a spoon, boil until sugar grains dissolve. We are waiting for the icing to cool slightly, after which we apply it on the surface of the cake with an even layer, smoothing the irregularities with a spoon.
Important!So that the bananas do not darken and retain an attractive appearance, it is necessary to sprinkle them with a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice. - We cover the cake with cling film and place in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours, so that it is well saturated. After that, we take it out, cut into portioned pieces, put it with a spatula on a dessert plate and send it to the table.
