Step cooking
This is a very simple cake recipe and it will not take long to prepare it. You can use a mixer or an ordinary whisk, a food processor.
- Take six eggs, hammer them into the mixer bowl. Eggs should be at room temperature, always fresh. Beat them at slow speeds for one minute.
- Stop the mixer, add a glass of sugar and a packet of vanilla sugar to the mixture, whisk until completely dissolved. Vanilla sugar can be replaced with vanilla, but it should be only one pinch.
- Now sift 260 g of flour, add a teaspoon of baking powder to it, mix and send to the bowl to a mixture of eggs and sugar. If you did not have a baking powder, you can replace it with 1 tsp. soda, but do not forget to extinguish soda with vinegar to avoid a pungent odor. Stir the flour with a mixer at slow speeds, so the flour will not fly into the kitchen.
- Divide the resulting dough into approximately two parts. In one of them, add 1.5 tablespoons of cocoa. If there was no cocoa at home, you can without it, it is at your discretion. Once again, beat the dough with cocoa at a slow mixer speed. Now the dough for the cake is completely ready, and the whole process of preparing it took 6-7 minutes. If you use a whisk, it will also take a little time.
- We proceed to the preparation of the cream. Turn on the oven 180 degrees, let it heat up while you make the cream. You can whip the cream with any kitchen utensils, even a tablespoon, if nothing else is at hand.
- For cream, take 20% sour cream, you can apply a higher fat content, but not lower than 20%. Put 800 ml of sour cream in a bowl, beat with a mixer for one minute, do it slowly, add 200 g of pre-softened butter, then 300 g of condensed milk, mix everything at a good speed for 2-3 minutes. The oil must be necessarily softened, the cold will leave small pieces, and this is bad for the cream. Try the cream, if it is unsweetened, add powdered sugar, but not sugar. I have enough sweets, so I do not add anything. Put the cream aside, proceed to baking.
- Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, a tablespoon or dessert spoon, put the dough in the form of cakes, send it to the preheated oven for baking.
- Let them cool, because the hot cream will spread. Leave five cake layers for decoration.
- When cool, start spreading them on a large dish. Spread each cake with cream bottom and top, tightly lay on top of each other. The result is a slide - this is the main part of the cake, as if the body of a turtle. Send it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so that the cream does not creep away and the oil freezes.
- While the base freezes, you can make a decor. Spread two cakes with cream a little, combine - this will be the head of the turtle. Between the cakes, you can insert a tongue made of mastic, greens, twigs of berries. Divide the other two cakes in half, connect with a cream - these are the legs of a turtle.
- Cut the fifth cake so that it resembles the tail of a turtle: on the one hand, the narrow part, on the other wider.After a while, take the cake out of the refrigerator, it has already froze a bit, start making it out. Sprinkle cocoa powder over the surface, the cake will immediately become attractive. Grate black chocolate on a fine grater, sprinkle on top. Grate any cookies that you have at home, sprinkle around, in a circle - it will resemble sand, as if the turtle is crawling on the sand.
- Now attach the head, and on the opposite side - the tail. Disconnect the creamy halves for the paws, disunite, smear the cream again, make the paws.
- Sprinkle with grated chocolate the places where the parts were attached. With melted chocolate, draw the eyes of the turtle, the shape of the paws - the children will be happy. Chocolate can be melted in the microwave, putting it in a plastic bag, then make a small incision and squeeze the desired shape.
- You can decorate in various ways: citrus fruits, nuts, mastic, small multi-colored sweets resembling sea pebbles. Here you need to connect your imagination so that the children like it. Let the cake stand for 2-3 hours for good soaking, you can leave it in the refrigerator overnight - it will be much tastier.
