- On the middle row of cookies lay out most of the curd filling. Put peaches on the curd, and the remaining filling on top.
- Carefully, lifting the paper by the edges, connect the side rows of cookies over the filling in the form of a hut. Wrap carefully and refrigerate for 10-12 hours.
- After time, remove the cake from the refrigerator, carefully remove the paper and sprinkle dry cocoa on top.
Food Options
It is very important that the dish is not only deliciously prepared, but also beautifully served. For serving, it is advisable to choose a plate with a minimal pattern or without it at all. It is also advisable to use the ingredients that are found in the cake itself and not overdo it with the details. Before you lay out a slice of cake, you can sprinkle the edge of the plate with powdered sugar or cocoa.
Chaotic streaks of fruit toppings or melted chocolate will also be appropriate. Sliced portions of the cake can be decorated with sliced fruits or berries that were used in the filling, and complement the presentation with a couple of fresh mint leaves.
Did you know? On a note.
- To make the cake easier to cut without damaging its integrity, you need to use a sharp knife.
- In order to soak the cake faster, the cookies should be soaked with milk, cocoa, coffee, fruit syrup.
- If you like sweeter desserts, you can increase the amount of sugar.
- Instead of peaches, you can use fresh berries, ripe banana, caramelized fruits.
- Sprinkle coconut, grated chocolate or crushed nuts on top of the cake.
