Ingredient preparation
- First things first, measure out 200 g of margarine or butter, after which we send it to a low fire.
- Melt the ingredient to a liquid state, and then place it in a cool place, where we leave it until the oil has cooled to room temperature. In no case do not put the oil to cool in the refrigerator!
- Separately, sift through a sieve 200 g of premium wheat flour.
Knead the dough
- In a deep bowl for kneading dough, break four chicken eggs at room temperature.
- On top of eggs, we pour 200 g of granulated sugar. Adjust the amount of sugar yourself, depending on how sweet buns you want to cook.
- There we add 1 bag of vanillin. Vanillin can be replaced with vanilla extract, essence or vanilla sugar. The use of these components will give the future delicacy a special pleasant aroma.
- Beat all components with a mixer until a homogeneous liquid consistency is obtained. Pour the cooled margarine into the resulting mass and again thoroughly mix the components. Pour the sifted flour in small portions and knead a homogeneous, viscous, liquidish dough. By its consistency, the finished dough resembles condensed milk.
Bake products
- Turn on the electric waffle iron and heat it to the desired temperature. Before baking directly, grease the mold surface with vegetable oil once.
- We spread a small amount of batter into the mold, and then evenly distribute it on it.
- Close the lid and bake the product for several minutes, from time to time opening the lid and evaluating the rudiment of the prepared wafer. We remove the finished wafer from the device and immediately wrap it in a tube. When cooling, the product hardens, and in the future it is impossible to curl without breaking.
- Formed wafer rolls stack on a large flat plate and serve.
Useful information
I offer several options for the filling, which significantly enriches the taste of wafer rolls.
- Curd: mix a pack of cottage cheese with a packet of vanilla, 200 g of powdered sugar, and then gently mix the beaten egg white.
- Choux: 200 g of sugar mixed with 4 eggs and whisk the mixture until white. There we add a packet of vanilla, 60 g of flour and 300 ml of warm milk. Then cook the filling until thickened.
- From condensed milk: beat a can of boiled condensed milk and 125 g of butter.
- Chocolate: 200 g of butter, grate with 200 g of icing sugar. Add 50 g of cocoa powder to the resulting mixture and thoroughly beat the mixture with a mixer until smooth. In the finished filling, add 100 g of any nuts.
