Step cooking
- Drive three eggs into a deep bowl. Add to them 50 g of sugar, a pinch of salt, 10-12 g of baking powder, mix well. Instead of baking powder, you can add half a teaspoon of soda, slaked with vinegar.
- In a water bath or in a microwave oven, melt 200 g of butter or margarine for baking, let it cool slightly and pour it over the eggs. Mix well. It is better to use high-quality margarine or butter, the taste of the finished baking will directly depend on this.
- Add 180 g of kefir or milk at room temperature. The fat content of milk or kefir can be any. The main thing that it was fresh, you liked the taste.
- Sift 600 g of flour into a separate bowl and gradually add to the liquid mass. We recommend sifting flour 2-3 times so that it is well saturated with oxygen. Of course, for this test the flour must be of the highest grade, so that the finished mass does not float, has a good color.
- Stir the dough first with a spoon or whisk. If you have a food processor, you can use it for kneading. Then sprinkle the working surface with flour and knead the dough with your hands for five minutes. The mass will become soft, supple, elastic, will not stick to the hands.
- After that, cover with a towel or cling film and give half an hour to rest. After this time, we can form pies. The filling can be used both unsweetened and sweet. It can be sweet or with greens cottage cheese, meat, potatoes, cabbage, rice with egg, jam. To make pies with sweet filling, add vanilla sugar to the dough. So baking will turn out even more fragrant.
Pies can be fried or baked. For frying, use unrefined vegetable oil to eliminate undesirable aromas. For baking, sprinkle with flour or grease with unrefined oil so that the pies do not stick.
Serve the finished flour products to your favorite drink. Use ware with a lid for storage. And if you heat up stale pies in a microwave oven, then they turn out soft, as if only from the oven.
