Step cooking
- Preparing a universal dough for dumplings and dumplings is quite simple. We start the cooking process by breaking 1 chicken egg into a deep bowl. It is important to do this carefully so that the husk does not fall into the container.
- Add half a teaspoon of salt and sugar to the egg. Pour into a bowl 4 tbsp. l vegetable oil.
- To all ingredients add 250 ml of mineral water. It is important that the water is highly carbonated, because it is thanks to the gases that the dough becomes more airy and softer. After adding mineral water, thoroughly mix all the ingredients with a whisk until a homogeneous consistency. When stirring, the mass immediately begins to foam.
- In a bowl with the resulting mass, gradually add flour. In total, 550-600 g of wheat flour will be required to prepare the dough. It must be sieved, so that it is saturated with oxygen and becomes more fluffy.
- Knead the dough in a bowl using a spatula.
- When the dough becomes more uniform and thick, transfer it from the bowl to a clean table. Continue to knead it with your hands. If necessary, add some more flour until the dough stops sticking to your hands. On average, the dumpling for dumplings is kneaded for 7-10 minutes.
- When the dough becomes soft and elastic, wrap it in a plastic bag and leave it for 20 minutes at room temperature. During this time, all components mix well with each other. To prevent the dough from drying out, it is recommended to cover it with a kitchen towel on top.
- After 20 minutes, the dough is ready. It can be rolled out using a rolling pin and cook dumplings with any filling. This dough is quite elastic, at the same time, it sticks well, and dumplings do not disintegrate during cooking. It is also universal and suitable not only for dumplings, but also for dumplings, unleavened pies and pasties.
