Step cooking
- Sift 900 g of wheat flour through a sieve. This is about 9 glasses. Put the sifted flour in a deep bowl and add 7 g of dry yeast. All mix a little spatula.
- Lightly heat 250 ml of milk in the microwave. It is recommended that it be approximately 37 degrees, but in no case boiling water. Add a slightly warmed glass of milk to the bowl with dry ingredients.
- Pour in a bowl 1 glass of sunflower oil. It is important to choose a product without a pungent odor, as it will be clearly felt in the finished baking.
- To all ingredients in a bowl add 250 ml of mineral water. It is important that it be highly carbonated, since it is the gases that give the test softness and airiness.
- Pour into a bowl with flour and other ingredients 1.5 tbsp. l salt, 2 tbsp. l sugar and mix thoroughly with a spatula.
- When kneading the dough with a spatula will be inconvenient, continue with your hands. The finished dough should be resilient.
- Put the dough, kneaded in mineral water, into a bowl greased with a small amount of vegetable oil. Cover the dish with a kitchen towel or cling film. Set aside in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, so that the dough comes up and increases at least 2 times.
- After 1-1.5 hours, we knead the dough several times and leave it to stand for an hour in a warm place under a covered towel.
- The dough is ready, and it is possible to form small buns from it, sprinkling them on top with sesame seeds. A total of approximately 1 tsp. sesame seeds. To keep the seeds well on the buns, grease them with 1 shaken chicken egg. Buns from this test are tasty and fragrant.
A similar dough can also be used for dumplings, manti and some other dishes. If you don’t immediately want to cook anything from the dough, then you can store it in the refrigerator for several days, wrapping it in a plastic bag.
