Mayonnaise | 200 g |

Step cooking
- Pour 250 ml of milk into a glass and put it in the microwave so that it warms up a little. Do not heat it up much. The optimum temperature at which the yeast dissolves well is 36-37 degrees. Pour warm milk into a deep bowl. In a bowl with milk, crumble into small pieces 25 g of live yeast, since they will most likely dissolve in crushed form. You can replace pressed yeast with 2 tbsp. l dry.
- Put in a bowl with milk 4 tsp. sugar and slightly add salt to the future dough, adding 1/2 tsp. table salt. Add 200 g of mayonnaise to all the ingredients in the bowl. You can take a product of any fat content, it is important that it is of high quality. You can also use homemade mayonnaise. After adding it to milk, thoroughly mix all products with a spatula to a homogeneous consistency. We leave the resulting mixture to stand at room temperature for several minutes so that the yeast begins to work. Through a sieve we pass 2 tbsp. l starch and add it to the rest of the products. Potato or corn starch can be used.
- At the very end, add 550-600 g of wheat flour. Before adding it must be sieved. It is recommended to add flour to the dough gradually so that it is easier to knead the dough. After each addition of sifted flour, mix everything with a spatula. At last, the dough becomes dense, and you need to knead it with your hands.
- The finished dough comes out soft and plastic, while it is slightly sticky, but does not remain on the hands. If you plan to bake a pie in the oven from this test, then the amount of flour can be reduced so that the dough turns out to be slightly sticky, because if it is heavily hammered with flour, it will turn out less tasty. We cover the kneaded dough with a kitchen towel or cling film and let it stand at room temperature. Proofing will take approximately 1.5-2 hours. During this time, it is well suited and will increase by 2-3 times.
- We knead the dough in a bowl, and you can already bake any dishes from it. If you still have time, it is recommended to re-place the dough for proofing, covering it with a towel. This dough is universal and well suited for pies, pies, rolls, bread and even pizza. In the latter case, it is better to reduce the amount of sugar and replace the milk with water.
