Step cooking
- Break chicken eggs (3 pieces) into a deep cup with a capacity of at least 1 liter.
- Add a pinch of table salt. Pour in 20 ml of vodka. Alcohol is added for a larger crunch of the finished treat.
- Beat the salted eggs with a fork or culinary whisk until smooth.
- Sift 300 grams of premium wheat flour into a deep bowl with a capacity of at least 3 liters. Sifting enriches the flour with oxygen, improves the quality of the dough.
- Make a depression in the center of the sifted flour. If desired, you can knead simply on a cutting surface.
- Pour the egg mixture into the recess.
- Using a spoon, carefully add small portions of flour to the egg mash. Knead the dough.
- When the composition becomes thick, continue to knead it with your hands.
- The dough should be dense and elastic.
- Form a ball from the mass. Put the dough in a plastic bag or wrap it with cling film. You can just cover with a deep bowl. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
- After a quarter of an hour, wash again, start preparing the dessert.
To prepare this sweet dessert, use a thick filling of sugar or honey syrup. Often finely chopped dried fruits (dried apricots, figs, prunes and others), candied fruits, various nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews and other nuts), poppy seeds, sesame seeds are often added to the chuck-chak. For a special crunch of goodies, you can add cognac or diluted alcohol instead of vodka. To give the dessert a tenderness, baking powder is added to the dough. The dish is considered ready to eat after solidification. Sweetness can be stored in sealed containers for a long time (about two weeks in the refrigerator).
