Kitchen appliances and utensils: stove or microwave, deep bowl, bowl for dry and liquid ingredients, a teaspoon and a tablespoon, a kitchen towel.
Ingredients
Kefir | 1 stack |
Vegetable oil | 0.5 stack |
Dry yeast | 1 pack (11 g) |
Premium flour | 3 stack |
Salt | 1 tsp |
Sugar | 1 tbsp. l |
Step cooking
- Pour kefir (1 cup), vegetable oil (0.5 cup) into a bowl and mix the liquid ingredients well.
- Put the bowl in the microwave or on the stove (in this case you can use the saucepan) and heat the kefir with oil to a temperature of 30 ° -40 °, but not higher, otherwise the yeast will not work. When the liquid mixture heats up, add sugar (1 tbsp.), Salt (1 tsp.) To it and stir so that the loose ingredients dissolve.
- Pour flour (2 cups), yeast (11 g) into another bowl and mix the dry mixture so that the yeast is evenly distributed over the entire volume of flour.
- Make a small cavity in the dry mixture and pour in the liquid ingredients.
- Now you need to knead the dough. First, you can do this with a spoon, and then continue further kneading with your hands. The remaining glass of flour must be added gradually, and the dough is kneaded intensively. This approach avoids the addition of excess flour. It should be borne in mind that each housewife uses different brands of flour, so the products may differ in performance. And if 3 cups of flour is indicated in the recipe, 2.5 cups may be enough for you. Otherwise, the dough will turn out tough. Another important point is that the dough “loves hands”, so the longer you knead it, the softer and more flexible the base for pies or any other baking will turn out.
- Put the prepared dough in a bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes. In the warm season, the bowl can be left on the table, the ambient temperature will be enough to make the dough come up.
- When the dough is suitable, you can proceed with further cooking.
