Step cooking
- Pour into a bowl three glasses of flour and a teaspoon of salt, mix.
- Pour one glass of warm water into which we put one teaspoon of sugar and two teaspoons of yeast. Mix until sugar dissolves.
- Pour water with sugar and yeast into the flour, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and knead a little with a spoon.
- You can knead the dough with your hands, which takes 10 minutes, or with a mixer that kneads the dough in 5 minutes. For mixing with the mixer, it is recommended to use the “Hook” nozzle.
- After kneading the dough, cut it into two halves and form a ball from each half. Lubricate the dough infuser with olive oil. We take the balls from the dough and coat them with this oil, and then put them into the mold at a distance of 4 cm from each other.
- We tightly cover the mold with a film, in which it is necessary to make 3-4 punctures with a knife so that there is access to oxygen. We put the dough in a warm place, insist for 2 hours. Ideally, it should grow to the size of a loaf of bread.
- The dough is ready for use in your dishes!
Use variations
This recipe is often used to make pizza, as the base is not thin, but very light and airy. However, the dough is not only suitable for pizza. From it you can make any other pastries, such as pies, white meat, pasties, khachapuri and so on. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination and desire.
