Kitchen appliances and utensils:
- sieve for sifting;
- a bowl;
- working surface;
- sharp knife;
- wooden plank;
- fridge;
- a kitchen towel or napkin.
Ingredients
Product | amount |
Flour | 1 kg |
Water | 550 ml |
Salt | 18 g |
Live yeast | 6 g |
Sunflower (or olive) oil | 75 ml |
Step cooking
- We take a large bowl and sift 1 kg of flour into it through a sieve. With this, we saturate the flour with oxygen and give airiness. We leave a little flour for adding.
- Then add 75 ml of sunflower (olive) oil to the sifted flour.
- Pour live yeast (6 g) there and pour 550 ml of water.
- Knead the dough with your hands.
- If you adhere to proportions, then in the bowl there should not be excess flour or water. The dough is soft and airy.
- Add 18 g of salt and knead again.
- Pour the flour (which was left for adding) to the working surface, put our dough there and again knead with our hands for several minutes.
- Leave the dough to rest for 15-20 minutes.
- After the dough has settled, put it on the work surface and make the shape of a rectangle, slightly oblong.
- Cut our dough with a sharp knife into two parts in half.
- Then we cut these two halves into three parts (each).
- Now each piece of dough needs to be sealed from the air. With our hands we roll the dough into a ball and with the back of our hands we seal the edges.
- Now on the working surface, scroll each ball with one or two hands.
- Sprinkle flour on a wooden board and put our balls of dough there.
- We cover the dough with a kitchen towel or napkin and send it to the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes. If you are in no hurry to cook pizza, you can leave the dough in the refrigerator for the night.
- After the dough settles, sprinkle flour on the working surface. There should not be much flour, because the dough will become dry. And put one ball of dough. We form a round base for pizza from it. Be sure to do this with your hands, you do not need to use a rolling pin, otherwise the dough will become rubber.
- Stretch the dough with your hands to make it as thin as possible. Now we start the pizza, put it on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for 15 minutes.
