Step cooking
- If necessary, roll 400 grams of beef and half an onion through a meat grinder.
- Add 100 g of raw round-grain rice to the minced meat, 30 ml of pure water, and add salt to taste. Shuffle these ingredients.
- Form small cutlets. From the specified number of products, approximately 7-8 pieces will be obtained.
- To prepare the sauce, grate the carrots on a fine grater, and cut the remaining half of the onion into thin half rings. Cut the tomato into a small cube.
- Pour 20-30 ml of sunflower oil into a frying pan or pan with a thick bottom and warm it well. If you have good non-stick cookware, you can reduce the amount of oil or even remove it. Pour onion there, fry until transparent, then add grated carrots and wait for the golden color of vegetables. Put chopped tomato or 1 tablespoon of tomato paste for onions and carrots, mix and add 2 tbsp after 2 minutes. l wheat flour. After 3 minutes of frying over medium heat, add salt and ground pepper to taste, about 150 ml of water and stir the sauce. You can also use your favorite spices.
- Put meat balls in boiling gravy and cook for 30 minutes over low heat under a lid.
- After half an hour, delicious cutlets with tomato sauce are ready. Potatoes of any kind (fried, boiled, crushed), buckwheat, bulgur, wheat or corn porridge, etc. are perfect as a side dish. Gravy gives juiciness to the whole dish, and the cutlets themselves are tender, dense and very mouth-watering.
