Step cooking
Minced meat
- To begin with, we wash well 500 g of beef pulp, cut off all the films.
- Then cut the meat into cubes of any size and twist it through a meat grinder. You can use absolutely any meat, or combine two types of meat, it all depends on your taste preferences.
- Pre-peeled two medium-sized onions, twist through a meat grinder to minced meat. Boil the rice in salted water until half cooked, cool and add to the minced meat.
- Salt, pepper to taste. Add any dry spices and seasonings that you like. Mix the minced meat thoroughly until smooth, so that all the ingredients are evenly distributed. Drive one medium-sized egg, mix well again. Stuffing is ready.
Cooking gravy
- Rub one large carrot on a fine grater.
- Two medium-sized onions are cut into thin half rings.
- Cut the tomato into a medium-sized cube.
- We put the pan on medium heat, pour 2 - 3 tbsp. l Flavourless vegetable oil and heat. We send chopped onions to the pan, fry for 2-3 minutes until light golden color.
- Then add the carrots, stirring, fry for a few more minutes.
- Next, send the chopped tomato, continue to fry.
- When the vegetables have become soft, add 1 tbsp. l Tomato paste, mix well, so that the paste is evenly distributed.
- In order to gravy a little thickened, pour 1 tbsp. l wheat flour, mix thoroughly and let fry a little.
- Pour 300 - 400 ml of water, salt to taste. The amount of water depends on the size of your form, the number and size of meatballs.
- Bring the gravy to a boil and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, so that it boils a little and thickens.
Cooking meatballs with gravy
- From the prepared minced meat we form round meatballs and put them on pans or a baking sheet, not too tight to each other so that there is room for gravy.
- Pour the meatballs with gravy, distribute vegetables evenly from above. Meatballs should be slightly more than half covered with gravy.
- We send it to a preheated oven to 200-220 degrees for 30-35 minutes until ready. The meatballs are very tender and soft inside, and toasted on top.
Meatballs with gravy go well with any side dish: mashed potatoes, pasta, any porridge, vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
