Step cooking
Rice cooking
- Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water until it becomes completely clear.
- We discard the rice on a sieve and let it stand for an hour.
- We transfer the cereals into the pan and pour cold water: for 200 g of rice, 250 - 300 ml of water will be needed.
- Cover the pan with a lid, put on medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Boil rice until half cooked. In time it will take 5 - 7 minutes. Or you can bring it to a boil, remove from heat and leave to infuse and swell in hot water. You should get 1 cup of boiled rice. We do not salt the rice during cooking, add salt to the minced meat when we mix everything.
Cooking gravy
- Rub on a coarse grater 1 carrot. Finely chop 1 large onion. Onions will add juiciness to our dish. Pour 20 ml of vegetable oil into the pan, heat. Put the chopped onions and carrots in the pan, fry until the carrots are soft and the onions are transparent.
- Pour 1 tbsp. l flour with a slide. Stir so that the flour is mixed with vegetables and saturated with oil.
- Add 2 tbsp. l tomato sauce, mix.
- Add finely chopped fresh dill or 1 tsp. dried. Pour 1 cup of cold water. Pour 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. dry seasoning (for barbecue, paprika, bay leaf). Bring to a boil, boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
Cooking Meatballs
- Minced meat is prepared from 2, and preferably from 3 types of meat in equal proportions. Then the taste will be more saturated. Mix 800 g of minced meat and 1 stack. boiled rice until half cooked. Drive 1 egg. For the sake of sharpness, put black and red ground peppers, garlic, passed through a press. Add 1 tbsp. l salt without a hill. Hands well knead. Stuffing can be beaten so that air and gases come out, then the stuffing will get a denser consistency, and the ingredients will stick together better. We form a ball from the minced meat, put it on one hand and sharply throw it back into the bowl. So do at least 10 times.
- We form balls. The size of the balls may be different, depending on your desire.
- We put it on the board, while we form all the balls. The meatballs can be slightly fried on both sides to form a crust that will hold its shape. We spread the meat balls in a pan with gravy.
- When the gravy boils, reduce the heat, cover and continue to simmer for 25-30 minutes.
