Meatballs
- Cook the minced meat. To do this, pass 250 g of pork and 250 g of beef through a meat grinder or chop in a blender.
- Rinse an incomplete glass of rice several times under running water, pour 1.5 glasses. water and boil until half cooked.
- 1 large onion, finely chop or chop in a blender. Grate 1 medium carrot on a coarse grater.
- Combine minced meat, onions, carrots, chilled rice. Add 1 egg, 0.5 tsp. black pepper and 1 tsp. salt. Mix well until smooth. Divide the minced meat into 10-12 parts and form balls from each part, repelling them a little in the palms. Grease a baking sheet 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil. Put the balls on a baking sheet in two rows.
Potatoes
- Rinse 1 kg of potatoes and peel them. Cut the potatoes into small, identical pieces.
- Grate medium carrots on a coarse grater or cut into slices. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Combine potatoes, onions and carrots. Add 0.5 tsp to vegetables. black pepper, 1 tsp. salt and 100 g of mayonnaise. Mix everything well.
- Put the potatoes on a baking sheet, filling the space between the rows of meatballs laid out earlier.
- Grate 100 g of hard cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle potatoes on it. Preheat the oven and place the pan for 40-60 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees.
- Bring potatoes to readiness. Enjoy your meal.

- If you wish, you can use any meat or minced meat for meatballs.
- Mayonnaise can be replaced with vegetable oil or sour cream.
- The meatballs prepared according to this recipe can also be stewed in sour cream or tomato sauce and served as a separate dish.
- Choose potatoes that cook quickly and crumble well when ready.
- You can add any spices to the potato. For example, curry, basil, oregano, ground red pepper, and a few cloves of garlic.
- If you know that your potatoes do not cook very quickly, do not sprinkle it with cheese immediately. Do this in the middle or at the end of cooking.
