Kitchen appliances and utensils: knife, pan, cauldron, plate, bowl for minced meat, a plate for cutting vegetables, a shovel for stirring, a stove.
Ingredients
Ground beef) | 500 g |
Rice | 300-350 g |
Onion | 2 pcs. |
Plain water (cold) | 1200 ml |
Tomato paste | 4 tbsp. l |
Salt | taste |
Step cooking
- Pour rice into the pan and rinse it. Put the pan under the tap, stir a little with your hands so that the rice grains do not float out or leak out, but fall to the bottom. Leave the pan under the tap (the pressure can be made stronger). Without covering, place the pot on a large fire until it boils. After boiling, put on a small fire until all the water has boiled away.
- Take one onion and chop it as finely as possible. Send the chopped onion to the minced meat.
- When the rice is finally washed, pour 500 milliliters of cold water into it. Take the onion and chop it as finely as possible. Put the onions in a separate plate. Take the carrots and cut them into cubes.
- Add carrots to the onion. Put the cauldron on a big fire. Add vegetable oil.
- Add carrots and onions. Stir a little with a wooden or silicone spatula.
- Without turning off the heat, add four teaspoons of tomato paste.
- Put the rice on a separate bowl and let it cool. Salting rice is not necessary. Start by hand kneading the minced meat with onion. Add rice to the minced meat, and continue to knead it. Add one egg to the minced meat and mix in the same way with your hands. Add salt to taste without stopping kneading.
- Nip off a piece of minced meat and form a ball. When all the balls have already been made, put the pan on a large fire so that it becomes hotter faster.
- Add vegetable oil immediately. Roll the meatballs in flour so that they do not stick to the pan. Put the balls in a preheated pan. After two to three minutes, periodically flip the balls to the other side.
- Pour 700 ml of water into a cauldron with onions and carrots without turning off the heat. After the water is poured, put the cauldron on a large fire to boil the sauce. Salt the sauce to taste.
- Add meatballs to the cauldron with sauce.
- Reduce the heat so that the meatballs do not burst. Stew for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
