How to make Thai ice cream at home 🍧

Kitchen appliances and utensils:

  • plastic tray;
  • wooden spatula;
  • freezer;
  • a bowl or glass for serving ice cream;
  • fork;
  • container for mixing ingredients.

Strawberry 3 pcs.
Kiwi 30 g
Cherries 5 pieces.
Apricot 1 PC.
Condensed milk 4 tbsp. l

Step cooking

  1. We take strawberries (3 pcs.) Thoroughly washed and peeled off the “tails”. A piece of kiwi (approximately 30 g) is also peeled and washed. Put the fruits in a plate and bring the puree to a consistency with a fork.
    Knead with mashed strawberries and kiwi.
  2. Then in a container with chopped kiwi and strawberries add 100 ml of 33% cream and 2 tbsp. l condensed milk.
    Add cream and condensed milk to the fruit puree.
  3. Thoroughly mix this workpiece.
    Mix the mass.
  4. Then put the resulting mixture on a clean and dry plastic tray and distribute on it with a thin even layer with a spatula. Then put the tray in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
    With a spatula, distribute the mass with a thin layer on a baking sheet or tray.
  5. Then we do the same (or in parallel) with sweet cherries (5 pcs.) And apricot (1 pcs.): Wash, peel, grind to puree, mix with cream (100 ml) and condensed milk (2 tbsp. .).

  6. Distribute evenly over the tray and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
    We send the mass to the freezer.
  7. After a specified period of time, we take out the tray from the freezer. We conditionally divide the frozen fruit and cream mass into several strips with a knife or spatula.
    With a knife or spatula, divide the frozen ice cream into strips.
  8. Then we “pry” each of the strips with a spatula and begin to scrape from the baking sheet, while wrapping it in a roll.
    Gently twist the small rolls of ice cream with a spatula.
  9. We put the resulting rolls vertically in a narrow bowl or glass. Ice cream must be eaten immediately after preparation, otherwise thin rolls will begin to melt and break. Enjoy your meal!
    Thai ice cream is ready.

Decoration and serving

When serving, this ice cream can be decorated with a sprig of fresh mint, topped with topping, liquor (if an adult eats a treat), sprinkle with nuts, multi-colored dragees, grated chocolate, coconut flakes or cookie crumbs. To make Thai ice cream, you can use absolutely any combination of berries and fruits. The main thing is that the consistency of the fruit-cream mixture allows you to spread it on a baking sheet with a thin layer.
